Drentse wold

The Drents-Friese Wold National Park is a national park in the Dutch provinces of Friesland and Drenthe, covering more than 61 km2 (24 sq mi), founded in 2000. It consists of forests, heath lands and drift-sands.

Diever is a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Westerveld, and lies about 18 km northwest of Hoogeveen.Diever is located near the Drentse Hoofdvaart, a major north-south route for pleasure boats in the province of Drenthe. De Vlijt (English: The Diligence) is a smock mill in Diever, Netherlands. It was built in 1882. The mill is listed as a Rijksmonument, number 12907.

Wateren is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Westerveld, and lies about 22 km west of Assen.

Westerveld (pronunciation ) is a municipality in the northeastern Netherlands.The municipality Westerveld was established in 1998 out of the municipalities of Diever, Dwingeloo, Havelte, and Vledder.Westerveld is crossed by a channel, the Drentsche Hoofdvaart. There are also two National Parks situated in the municipality, the Drents-Friese Wold and Dwingelerveld.
