Vasyl' Stus Donetsk National University (Vasyl' Stus DonNU) (Ukrainian: Донецький національний університет імені Василя Стуса, Donets’kyi Natsional’nyi Universytet; Russian: Донецкий национальный университет имени Васыля Стуса ) one of the leading higher educational institutions of Ukraine. The University's history starts in 1937 from the moment of creation of a pedagogical institute in Donetsk (then Stalino).

Central Park of Culture and Leisure named after Shcherbakov is a recreation park in Donetsk. It is located in Voroshylovskyi Raion, in the west it matches with stadium Shakhtar, and in the north there is the Second city pond.Park was open in 1932. The Archiepiscopal Exarchate of Kharkiv was established on 2 April 2014 after division of the Ukrainian Catholic Archiepiscopal Exarchate of Donetsk – Kharkiv in two Exarchates . The current, and first, Archiepiscopal Exarch is Bishop Vasyl Tuchapets, O.S.B.M. It is one of only five archiepiscopal exarchates worldwide - all of them being Ukrainian Rite.
