Broad Bay Country Club

Frank W. Cox High School is a secondary school located in the Great Neck subdivision of Virginia Beach, Virginia. It was founded in 1961 as the Northeast Junior High School, but upon opening, it was named after a former superintendent of Virginia Beach City Public Schools, Frank Woodard Cox, who led the school division from 1933 to 1968.

Broad Bay Manor in Virginia Beach is a historic manor house which is purportedly the oldest extant European-built house in the southeastern United States.Thomas Allen built the small center portion of the current larger house in either circa 1636 of Flemish bond brick on land granted to him by Governor Thomas West, 3rd Baron De La Warr or his brother John West (governor).
