From the beginning this trail is all incline. Nice wide trail. Be sure to wear the right shoes as there is a lot of loose sand on the trail. A bit slippery coming down. Some shade from the mountains in the morning.

The first couple of miles are clear and easy enough to hike though it is a good incline. But then the “assigned trail” goes off to the right and turns into what seems more like a runoff trail than an actual trail. Couldn’t even get to the end at the county line bc there was no safe path forward.
