Great trail to a beautiful lake surrounded by tall snow capped mountains and dozens waterfalls (due to spring melt-off). The length and elevation gain were fairly easy, but the trail itself was bit Challenging due to dense tree roots, rocky terrain with bit of scramble, and couple spots of mud. Wear your hiking boots or trail runners for extra grip and to stay dry in the water crossing (all are shallow and easy). Going up was ok, going down was where my knees screamed. At the end, the views and the crystal-clear lake were definitely worth the effort.
