SIES College of Arts & Science

Sion is a neighbourhood of Mumbai. In the 17th century the village formed the boundary between Mumbai and Salsette Island. The British named it marking the end of the city. The name remained even after Mumbai was joined to the Salsette and extended up to Mulund. However now Sion is not the end of the city.

SIES College of Arts, Science, and Commerce is a Mumbai-based college located in Sion. Established by the South Indian Education Society, the college schools students from class 11 and 12 right up to advanced degrees and has research facilities and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. SIES has been ranked as the 7th best institute in India & 3rd in Mumbai for its Mass Communication Courses by The India Today.

NES Ratnam College of Arts, Science, and Commerce is a Mumbai-based college located in Bhandup. Established by the National Education Society, the college schools students from grade 11 and 12 right up to advanced degrees and has research facilities and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

Shiv Shikshan Sanstha's English Medium School, located in Sion, Mumbai, sister concern of D.S High School, Sion, Mumbai, which is India's one of the oldest school in Mumbai. The school was founded as a primary school, and became a Secondary school. A majority of students at the school have been Hindus.
