Haverford College Nature Trail

Haverford College ( HAV-ər-fərd) is a private liberal arts college in Haverford, Pennsylvania. All students of the college are undergraduates and nearly all reside on campus. The college was founded in 1833 by area members of the Orthodox Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) to ensure an education grounded in Quaker values for young Quaker men.

The Haverford School is a highly selective private, non-sectarian, all-boys college preparatory day school, junior kindergarten through grade twelve. Founded in 1884 as The Haverford College Grammar School, it is located in Haverford, Pennsylvania, nine miles northwest of Philadelphia, on the Main Line.

Haverford College (CDP) is a census-designated place located in Haverford Township, Delaware County, and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It corresponds to the campus of Haverford College, located on the southwest side of U.S. Route 30, about 10 miles (16 km) northwest of the city of Philadelphia.

Friends School Haverford is a private, Quaker elementary school near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania which educates students in Grades Nursery School (starting at 2 years 7 months) through Eighth Grade. The school was founded in 1885, and is the oldest Quaker school on Philadelphia's Main Line. Grades Nursery School to Kindergarten are in one building, while grades first grade to eighth grade are in the main building.

Haverford station is a SEPTA rapid transit station in Haverford Township, Pennsylvania. It serves the Norristown High Speed Line (Route 100) and is located at Haverford Road and Buck Lane. Local and express (but not limited) trains stop at Haverford. The station lies near the campus of Haverford College and the Haverford School.

Roslin House in Haverford, Pennsylvania, United States, was built in 1911 for Horace B. Forman Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth Chandlee Forman. The Philadelphia Quaker architect William L. Price designed and built the house from sketches provided by the Formans. Dr. H. Chandlee Forman, son of Horace and Elizabeth, donated the house to Haverford College in 1948.

Whitehall Apartments is a historic apartment building located at Haverford in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1925-1926, and is a large, 3 1/2-story, "E"-shaped stucco building in the Mission Revival style. It features wrought iron balconies, blue decorative tile featuring scenes of Christopher Columbus, and red tile roof caps.

The Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society is the oldest figure skating club in the United States.
