Ravenswood is a city in Jackson County, West Virginia, United States, along the Ohio River. The population was 3,876 at the 2010 census.

Ravenswood "Old Town" Historic District is a national historic district located at Ravenswood, Jackson County, West Virginia. It encompasses 313 contributing buildings and two contributing structures, the Ohio River Rail Road Steel Pratt-through truss Bridge and Concrete bridge on State Route 68 over Sandy Creek.

Lemley-Wood-Sayer House is a historic home located at Ravenswood, Jackson County, West Virginia. It was built in 1871, and is a two-story, cruciform plan, Italianate style dwelling. It is constructed of brick and sits on a stone foundation. It features a wraparound porch supported by seven columns that are heavy with ornamental bracketing, or gingerbreading.

Old Ravenswood School, also known as "1887 School," was a historic school building located at Ravenswood, Jackson County, West Virginia. It was built in 1887-1888, and was a two-story brick building with an irregular hipped roof with a truncated tower that, until 1971, supported a belfry. The school closed in 1968.

North Ravenswood is a neighborhood of Ravenswood in Jackson County, West Virginia, and a former unincorporated community. It used to be named Elford, and have its own post office.

Ravenswood High School is a public school in Ravenswood, West Virginia, US, in the Jackson County School District. Enrollment was 437 in the 2016–17 school year. The principal is Jaquetta Hendricks and the assistant principal Jim Frashier; on July 1, 2017, Frashier will succeed Hendricks as principal following her retirement.

Sandy Creek is a tributary of the Ohio River in western West Virginia in the United States. Via the Ohio River, it is part of the watershed of the Mississippi River, draining an area of 124 square miles (320 km2) on the unglaciated portion of the Allegheny Plateau. The creek is 22 miles (35 km) long, or 38.3 miles (61.6 km) including its Left Fork.
