Alexandra Park is a 60-acre (24 ha) park in the Whalley Range district of Manchester, England. It was designed by Alexander Gordon Hennell and opened to the public in 1870 with the initial purpose to "deter the working men of Manchester from the alehouses during their day off". The lodge and gateways are the work of Alfred Darbyshire.

St Bede's College is an independent Roman Catholic co-educational school for children from 3–18 years on Alexandra Road South in Whalley Range, Manchester, England. It is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference. Mr Louis d'Arcy became Headmaster of the College in January 2019.Founded in 1876 by the Bishop of Salford, Herbert Vaughan, the College moved to its present site on Alexandra Park Road a few years later after the acquisition of the former Manchester Aquarium building.

In 1934, after the union that created the Methodist Church of Great Britain, Victoria Park merged with the nearby Hartley College to create Hartley Victoria College. It closed in 2015.Hartley College was founded for training clergy for the Primitive Methodist ministry in 1881.
