An awesome route that I stumbled upon unintentionally in my urge to find a different path that I haven’t explored, yet.... I could have walked on all the way to Musselburgh, but took a detour and found myself in Duddingston village while trying to head back towards Holyrood Park; it’s rugged terrain and Duddingston nature reserve is a tranquil haven for the resident geese, swans who are spear very much at home and unperturbed in their exclusive territory. I was caught in the act of peeing in the bushes by elderly dog-walkers, and my was I embarrassed!!!! It was a lively bustling scene of outdoor enthusiasts everywhere, and hardly anyone adorning a mask.
