Mt laguna out and back

Park near the Mount Laguna USAF Station gate and walk back down the paved road to the PCT trail. The trail begins just before reaching Sunrise Highway. For this route, take a right on the PCT and head north. The trail is not technical but very rocky. For trail enthusiasts, and trail runners, this makes it fun and a great training route. Along the way you come across many through hikers. This particular route covers portions of the PCT 50, SD 100, and Laguna Marathon.
