Luxembourg Garden

The Musée Moissan is a museum dedicated to Henri Moissan (1852–1907), winner of the 1906 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. It is maintained by the Université René Descartes-Paris 5 faculty of pharmaceutical and biological sciences, and located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris at 4, avenue de l'Observatoire, Paris, France.

The Lycée Montaigne is a famous French public secondary school. It is located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, near the Jardin du Luxembourg, and was founded in the 1880s.The school currently has around 800 pupils at the Collège level, and 1,000 pupils at the Lycée level. The school also offers classes préparatoires for 150 pupils.

The École nationale de la France d'outre-mer (ENFOM; French for "National School of Overseas France") was a French grande école, providing training for future colonial administrators. It was situated in Paris, avenue de l'Observatoire, 2.Created under the name École coloniale ("Colonial School") in 1889, it succeeded the École cambodgienne ("Cambodian School") – established in 1885 – and took the ENFOM name in 1934 (it was still referred to as La Colo in colloquial terms).
