Tor Vergata University of Rome, also known as the University of Rome II (Italian: Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata), is a public research university located in Rome, Italy. Its current president is Giuseppe Novelli, a professor in the Faculties of Medicine and Surgery.It was established in 1982 with the goal of providing high-quality education for students preparing to meet the ever-evolving needs and opportunities of the 21st-century workforce.

Santi Gioacchino ed Anna al Tuscolano is a church in Rome. The church is dedicated to Saints Joachim and Anne, parents of the Virgin Mary.On 28 June 1988, this church was erected as a cardinal's title. The first two cardinal priests to hold title to this church were Hans Hermann Groer, O.S.B. and Keith O'Brien.

The Orto Botanico dell'Università di Tor Vergata is a botanical garden at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy. The first part of the collection was established in late 2007 with the biology department's Center for Conservation of Germoplasm. Its mission is to preserve genetic biodiversity, and contains advanced equipment for cryopreservation of germoplasm and research in molecular genetics.
