The Seine

The Maison de Balzac is a writer's house museum in the former residence of French novelist Honoré de Balzac (1799–1850). It is located in the 16th arrondissement at 47, rue Raynouard, Paris, France, and open daily except Mondays and holidays; admission to the house is free, but a fee is charged for its temporary exhibitions.

The Direction de la Surveillance du Territoire (DST; English: Directorate of Territorial Surveillance) was a directorate of the French National Police operating as a domestic intelligence agency. It was responsible for counterespionage, counterterrorism and more generally the security of France against foreign threats and interference.

Front de Seine is a development in the district of Beaugrenelle in Paris, France, located along the river Seine in the 15th arrondissement at the south of the Eiffel Tower. It is, with the 13th arrondissement, one of the few districts in the city of Paris containing highrise buildings, as most have been constructed outside the city (notably in La Défense).

Bir-Hakeim ([biʁakɛm]) is an elevated station of the Paris Métro serving line 6 in the Boulevard de Grenelle in the 15th arrondissement. It is situated on the left bank of the Bir-Hakeim bridge over the Seine. The name of both the bridge and the station commemorates the World War II battle of Bir Hakeim.

The Cheminée du Front-de-Seine is a chimney located in the 15th arrondissement, in the Front de Seine district of Paris. It is 130 metres high and the tallest structure in the district by 30 metres.The chimney was designed by François Stahly and was built between 1970 and 1971. Its simple white form is unadorned except for aesthetic vents located in top of the structure.

Avenue du Président Kennedy is a station in line C of the Paris Region's express suburban rail system, the RER. It is situated in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, near the Musée de Radio France.

The Pont de Bir-Hakeim (English: Bridge of Bir-Hakeim), formerly the Pont de Passy (Bridge of Passy), is a bridge that crosses the Seine in Paris. It connects the 15th and 16th arrondissement, passing through the Île aux Cygnes. The bridge, made of steel, is the second to have stood at the site. It was constructed between 1903 and 1905, replacing an earlier bridge that had been erected in 1878.

Île aux Cygnes (French pronunciation: ​[il o siɲ]; English: Isle of the Swans) is a small artificial island on the river Seine in Paris, France, in the 15th arrondissement. It was created in 1827 to protect the bridge named the pont de Grenelle. It should not be confused with an earlier Île des Cygnes that was attached to the Champ de Mars in the late 18th century.

The Pont Rouelle (English: Rouelle Bridge) is a railway bridge in Paris that crosses the river Seine. It connects the city's 15th and 16th arrondissements, and passes through the Île aux Cygnes. Constructed of steel, the bridge is 173 metres (567 feet) long and 20 metres (66 feet) wide. It is currently used for railway service, carrying the RER C.

The Pont de Grenelle (English: Grenelle Bridge) is a bridge that crosses the Seine River in Paris, France. It connects the city's 15th and 16th arrondissements, and passes through the Île aux Cygnes. Constructed of steel, it is a girder bridge. The current bridge was constructed in 1966, replacing an earlier bridge that had stood since 1873.
