A beautiful walk around scenic Radnor Lake, Nashville's hidden gem. Copious shade (most places) and an easy forest trail free of dogs & joggers. Come near sunrise or sunset and see wildlife from deer and turkeys to chipmunks and sunning snakes. Bring a camera for gorgeous shots across the lake. Park Rangers sometimes set up observation points along Otter Creek road to see bald eagles and cormorants that nest on the lake shore.
Well maintained trails surrounding Radnor Full Lake. We saw deer, turtles in lake, chipmunks and squirrels. Loved the thin vine like branches on trees. The trail was mostly shaded.
