Starting from Lock 6 on the Royal Canal cycle on a hard towpath until the 12th Lock where the surface is grass/mud. Leave the canal path at Lady Louisa Bridge and cycle on the public road to McEvoys pub on Hazelhatch Road where you join the Grand Canal towpath on the north side of the canal. Grassy/muddy surface until 12th Lock and follow path to Inchicore and on for pancakes in Lemon on South William Street. Total distance is 50km.
