Rouge River Gateway Trail

Fair Lane was the estate of Ford Motor Company founder Henry Ford and his wife, Clara Ford, in Dearborn, Michigan, in the United States. It was named after an area in Cork in Ireland where Ford's adoptive grandfather, Patrick Ahern, was born. The 1,300-acre (530 ha) estate along the River Rouge included a large limestone house, an electrical power plant on the dammed river, a greenhouse, a boathouse, riding stables, a children's playhouse, a treehouse and extensive landmark gardens designed by Chicago landscape architect Jens Jensen.

The University of Michigan–Dearborn (U of M Dearborn, UM–Dearborn, or UMD) is a public university in Dearborn, Michigan. It is one of the two regional campuses of the University of Michigan operating under the policies of the Board of Regents. The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor is located 35 miles to the west; the other regional campus is in Flint, which is located 70 miles to the north.

The John D. Dingell Transit Center is an intermodal transit station in Dearborn, Michigan. It is served by Amtrak's Wolverine line as well as SMART buses.

The University of Michigan-Dearborn Fieldhouse is a multi-purpose arena/athletic facility located in Dearborn, Michigan on the campus of University of Michigan-Dearborn.The facility houses a 2,500-seat multi-purpose gymnasium that is the home to the Michigan-Dearborn Men's and Women's basketball teams, and UMD Women's Volleyball team competing at the NAIA Division II level in the Wolverine–Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC).
