LaMer and Jumeirah

Dubai Zoo (Arabic: حديقة حيوان دبي‎) was a 1.5-kilometre (0.93 mi) located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.It was originally built in 1967 by a Dubai resident when H. H. Sheikh Rashid bin Maktoum, the late Ruler of Dubai, permitted Otto J. Bulart to build a zoo on a two hectare plot in Jumeirah. It is still the oldest zoo in the Arabian Peninsula.

Mercato Shopping Mall is a shopping centre in the Jumeirah area of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The mall is designed to look like a Mediterranean town during the European Renaissance in Italy. Opening in 2002, the mall cost 120 million dirhams. The name "mercato" comes from the Italian word meaning "market." The mall has a gross leasable area of 22,900 m2 (247,000 sq ft) and a total area of 59,900 m2 (645,000 sq ft).

Jumeira Beach is a white sand beach that is located and named after the Jumeirah district of Dubai, on the coast of the Persian Gulf. It stretches along the coast south of the city's historic district to the junction with The Palm Jumeirah and terminates between the southern end of the Jumeirah Beach Residence (adjacent to the Dubai Marina district) and the port facilities at Jebel Ali.

Jumeirah (Arabic: جُمَيْرَا‎, romanized: Jumayrā Emirati pronunciation: [dʒʊˈmeːrɐ]) is a coastal residential area of Dubai, United Arab Emirates mainly comprising low rise private dwellings and hotel developments. It has both expensive and large detached properties as well as more modest town houses built in a variety of architectural styles.
