Al Bidda (Arabic: البدع‎) is a neighborhood of Doha, Qatar. It was previously the largest town in Qatar in the 19th century, before Doha, an offshoot of Al Bidda, grew in prominence. Al Bidda was incorporated as a district in the Doha municipality in the late 20th century.Qatar's Amiri Diwan (Presidential Office) has been based in Al Bidda since 1915, after being converted from an abandoned Ottoman fort.

The Amiri Diwan of the State of Qatar is the sovereign body and the administrative office of the Amir. It is the official workplace and office of the Amir of the State of Qatar. The Amiri Diwan represents the figurative and bureaucratic center of Qatar. The building also hosts the office of the Deputy Amir and the Prime Minister.

The Museum of Islamic Art (Arabic: متحف الفن الإسلامي‎, matḥaf al-fann al-islāmī, MIA) is a museum on one end of the seven-kilometer-long (4.3 mi) Corniche in Doha, Qatar.As per the architect I. M. Pei's specifications, the museum is built on an island off an artificial projecting peninsula near the traditional dhow harbor.

The Doha Corniche (Arabic: كورنيش الدوحة‎) is a waterfront promenade extending for seven kilometers along Doha Bay in the capital city of Qatar, Doha. Annual celebrations of national holidays such as Qatar National Day and National Sports Day are centered on the Doha Corniche. It is a popular tourist and leisure attraction within Qatar.

Al Souq (Arabic: اسوق‎, romanized: As Sūq; also spelled As Sawq) is a commercial district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Doha. It was named for its high density of souqs (markets) in the southern section of the district.Abdullah bin Jassim Street services numerous government buildings and banks in the northern end of the district, including Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center, Qatar Central Bank, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment.
