Mountain View Park is a corp of engineers Park on Lake Lanier off of Old 141 Road near Gainesville. The park is open during daylight hours. The half mile loop route has stunning lake views. The route is completely paved and has small elevation change. This park is usually very quiet and makes for a peaceful serene walk. There are no facilities at this park as it is mostly a boat ramp at this time. Make sure to bring yourself some water.Dogs on leashes are welcome and kids enjoy playing by the lake. This is not the best route for strollers or wheelchairs although it can certainly be managed.
