Xitun District (Chinese: 西屯區; pinyin: Xitún Qū, literally "western village") is the second-most populated district of Taichung, Taiwan. It is located on the western side of the city. Once considered part of the countryside, the district has seen rapid growth in recent years withdepartment store and office towers in the redevelopment zone.

Morrison Academy Kaohsiung (MAK) is a K-12 Christian International school in Dashe District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is the southern satellite school of the Morrison Academy school system. The school is jointly accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Association of Christian Schools International.

Overseas Chinese University (OCU; Chinese: 僑光科技大學) is a private university in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan.

The Finnish dormitory in Taichung, Taiwan, was a facility that was run by the Finnish Missionary Society in Taichung during the years 1968–1997. From 1973 on the dormitory was located within the campus of Morrison Academy. This dormitory was the subject of a master's thesis in pedagogy in Helsinki University in 1987.
