Introduction
Pond and Lakes Trail is a 2.3 mile (5,500-step) route located near Okatie, South Carolina, USA. This route has an elevation gain of about 23 ft and is rated as easy. Find the best walking trails near you in Pacer App.
We start at Okatie Hwy, Southbound, Savannah. At the first entrance to Mill Creek. We access the bike path. We walk approximately 0.4 miles and see the first intersection (Gibberd Rd-Mill Creek Blvd), we continue for 0.3 more miles, we turn right onto Hulston Landing Rd, where we see the entrance sign, in the southern part of Cypress Ridge. Then, we observe on both sides of the road, the pond and the lake. We continue along the paved path, just in front is the third lake. We turn (right) on Oak Barrel Blvd, walking for 0.3 miles until we reach Blakers Blvd. The path is calm and pleasant, for any condition: on one side, the residential area, on the other side, the mixed pine and oak forest. When we reach the traffic circle, we surround it and then we see the main lake, with places to sit and watch the birds, a beautiful park of tall palm trees, a pavilion, with tables, grills and shade, and also the Mill House Sports Center ( for residents only) 0.6 miles the lake loop. We leave the park heading east, on Benson Ln towards Blakers Ln (0.2 miles) turn on Station Mill and cross Slater St, to reach the end of our walk. Localitation 170 Okatie Hwy Cypress Ridge.
