Zoo

The Beijing Zoo is a zoological park in Beijing, the capital of the China, in Xicheng District. Founded in 1906 during the late Qing dynasty, it is one of the oldest zoos in China. The zoo is also a center of zoological research that studies and breeds rare animals from various continents.The zoo occupies an area of 89 hectares (220 acres), including 5.6 hectares (14 acres) hectares of lakes and ponds.

The Paleozoological Museum of China (PMC; Chinese: 中国古动物馆) is a museum in Beijing, China. The same building also houses the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The museum containing exhibition halls with specimens aimed at the public, while the rest of the building is used for research purposes.

The Beijing Planetarium (simplified Chinese: 北京天文馆; traditional Chinese: 北京天文館) is an astronomy museum in Beijing, China.The Planetarium comprises two main buildings, Building A & B. Building A, which was built in 1957, contains the Celestial Theater, an Eastern Exhibition Hall and a Western Exhibition Hall.

National Library Station (simplified Chinese: 国家图书馆站; traditional Chinese: 國家圖書館站; pinyin: Guójiā Túshūguǎn Zhàn) is an interchange station on Line 4 and Line 9 of the Beijing Subway. Its name is derived from the nearby National Library of China. The station features a double-island interchange layout, with Line 4 trains on the outside and Line 9 trains on the inside, which allows most riders to change lines simply by crossing the platform, instead of walking between levels.
