North Hall Park is located off Nopone Road north of Gainesville. The park is a multi use recreational facility that includes multiple ballfields, a track, a rec center, hiking trails and a playground. There are bathrooms in the park but not at the trails. Leashed dogs are allowed on the trail. The Whippoorwill Trail is a dirt trail that is three quarters of a mile from the trailhead with another quarter mile back and forth from parking. The trail circumnavigates a field at the wood line. The field is a great spot to spot deer in the morning.
