Shibuya

Ebisu (恵比寿) is major district of Shibuya-ku in Tokyo, Japan. It was developed on the site of a former brewery and is now home to Yebisu Garden Place. It is renowned for its high concentration of bars and restaurants.

As of November 2013, it was tied for being the 52nd tallest skyscraper in Japan and 40th tallest building in Tokyo.

The Shibuya River (渋谷川, Shibuya-gawa) is a river which flows through central Tokyo, Japan.The river is 2.6 km in length originating close to Shibuya Station and passing through Shibuya and Minato wards before merging with the Furu River near Hiroo and flowing into Tokyo Bay near Shiba Koen. The Inner Circular Route is built above the lower course of the river.

With 2.4 million passengers on an average weekday in 2004, it is the fourth-busiest commuter rail station in Japan and the world (after Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, and Ōsaka / Umeda) handling a large amount of commuter traffic between the center city and suburbs to the south and west.
