Floreasca Park Introduction
Floreasca Park is a 1.6 mile (3,500-step) route located near Bucharest, Romania. This route has an elevation gain of about 59 ft and is rated as easy. Find the best walking trails near you in Pacer App.
Floreasca Garden, located in the area of the former “Floreasca Pit”, is a pretty big and intimate at the same time, clean and quiet park in Bucharest, close to Herastrau Park and Bordei Park, near Floreasca Lake.
A beautiful and almost traffic-free location. Some bus stations nearby, so you can find it by bus.
Recently renovated and visited more by the locals, it offers an hour walk around it. Alleys and wheelchair ramps. Some nice statues made by Romanian sculptors.
A safe place, security always present.
It has some outdoor well accesorized playgrounds for every age (they even have a tiroliana and a minigolf area). The giant stone slide (a rarity, 5-7 meters high) is the main atraction but it is not functioning because of the danger it poses to children.
Dogs friendly, with specially designed for them areas.
For something to eat or drink: B4 Market - a nice beans-bread-breakfast-bistro :-)
On the site of the former Floreasca ice rink is now a restaurant (Club White) with a cozy terrace during the summer (during the winter the restaurant terrace area use to be a skating rink).
