A pretty large area with a road that splits the park in two. It can be reached by metro (Piata Obor metro station) and then bus or tram (Doamna Ghica station).
A lovely park, perfect for artistic photography - many types of plants and trees (some of them with painted trunck, an art project), nice alleys, a lot of benches, stairs and wheelchair ramps, a small abandoned island, bridges, a beautiful lake with swans, wild ducks, seagulls, fishes and a lot of fishermen.
There is also a water spring in the park. Big dogs playing areas near the Ghica Palace. Children playgrounds, free basketball and football courts and a nice barbeque area. Places for time alone and places for social time (there is also a club for seniors in the park).
Nearby, the Plumbuita Monastery (a historical monument) with a fresh water source and some peacocks. A must visit place.
