The Rose Pauson House in Phoenix, Arizona, was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1939 and built 1940–1942.The neighborhood was platted and 1st recorded as the new Alta Vista Park Estates in 1928 just before the Great Depression. The recession and long, slow economic recovery meant little real estate and new home construction occurred on the neighboring lots until the late 1930s when the luxury home was planned.
