The Fiji Museum is a museum in Suva, Fiji located in the capital city's botanical gardens, Thurston Gardens.The museum is a statutory body and is under the administration of the Fiji Museum Act and the Preservation of Objects of Archaeological & Palaeontological Interest Act.The Fiji Museum was the host institution for the Pacific Islands Museums Association (PIMA) secretariat until 2006, when the secretariat transferred its base of operations to Port Vila, Vanuatu.

Albert Park is located in Suva, the capital of Fiji. It was named after Prince Albert, the Consort of Queen Victoria of Great Britain, to whom the country was ceded to in 1874.Albert Park can hold two rugby matches at one time. There’s also a hockey pitch located in the middle of the ground with a grandstand and a cafeteria.

Thurston Gardens are the botanical gardens of Fiji. They used to be known as the Suva Botanical Gardens but its name was changed in honour of the fifth Governor of Fiji, Sir John Bates Thurston, who was Governor from February 1888 to March 1897. Thurston Gardens is located in central Suva, between Albert Park and the Government House.

Government House is the official residence of the President of Fiji.

The Grand Pacific Hotel is located on the main sea front, on Victoria Parade in Suva, Fiji. It was built by The Union Steamship Company in 1914 to serve the needs of passengers on its transpacific routes. The design of the hotel was to make the passengers think they had never gone ashore, for rooms in the GPH were like first-class staterooms, complete with saltwater bathrooms and plumbing fixtures identical to those on an ocean liner.

The Government Buildings in Suva are the offices of the executive wing of Government of Fiji. Built in the late 1930s as the seat of the colonial administration, the Art Deco buildings today house the Prime Minister of Fiji's offices, the High Court, and several government ministries. It is also the seat of the Parliament of Fiji since 2014, having previously been the seat of Fiji's parliament from independence in 1970 until the 1987 coups.

The Chinese ambassador in Suva is the official representative of the government in Beijing to the government of Fiji.

The responsibilities of the RBF include issue of currency, control of money supply, currency exchange, monetary stability, promotion of sound finances, and fostering economic development.The current Governor of the Bank is Faizul Ariff Ali.
