Vom Parkplatz am Eselsdamm laufen wir zur Siedlung „Leben am Fluss „ und spazieren von dort nach Süden durch den Yachthafen, vorbei am Sealife Speyer hinunter zum Rheinufer. Von dort halten wir uns südwestlich auf dem Helmut-Kohl-Ufer und biegen nach ca. 1km nach rechts ab. Vorbei am „Bademaxx“ geht es zum Technik Museum Speyer und von dort nach Norden in den Domgarten. Dort wenden wir uns wieder nach links und steigen die Treppen hinauf zum Domplatz wo wir den ehrwürdigen Bau in seiner ganzen Pracht bewundern können. Dann gehen wir nordöstlich durch die Speyerer Altstadt zurück zum Eselsdamm

German submarine U-9 (S188)

Place
U9 (S188) was a Type 205 submarine of the German Navy. She was laid down on 10 December 1964 by Howaldtswerke of Kiel. U9 was launched on 20 October 1966 and commissioned on 11 April 1967. She was decommissioned on 3 June 1993, and is now a museum ship at Technikmuseum Speyer in Speyer.
