Beginning at the trailhead, the path is a steady incline on a well established path. To your left is Peak 3, Flake top and Ptarmigan Mountains, and to the right is valley. Bushes on either side of the trail, some runoff in spots. After about 2 miles, you drop into the valley. It typically becomes windy there. Stay on the trail and you’ll wind up at Rabbit lake around mile 4. Stunning views of the Suicide peaks.
