Truly gorgeous! The hike starts on a higher elevation and continues down toward the creek bed as the forest floor wides and becomes level. Many rock outcroppings and stone walk ways across the winding creek dot the landscape during this 2.5 to 3 mile hike in. The final waterfall is quite impressive and the comfortable bench and decking definitely add to the enjoyment of a possible end point or you could continue on as the trail wonders for a total of 18 or so miles. Haven’t gone that far yet but it’s on my to-do list as this area is beyond beautiful!
