Punggol park connector to Coney Island... amazing sights to see. In the entrance to Coney Island, saw a family of monkeys and some carrying their babies. I was astounded as they were so close to me, but it was an amazing experience... beautiful sight and seeing the calming water! I was using only canvas shoes, not that rocky, so it’s good walk...

Coney Island, alternatively known as Pulau Serangoon, is a 133-hectare island located off the northeastern coast of Singapore within the town of Punggol, between Pulau Ubin to its northeast and the mainland to its southwest.Land reclamation works were carried out on the island from 1975 to the 1990s, as there were plans to build residential buildings on the southern part of the island.

The 8-kilometre river starts as a canal near Tampines Road, and flows through Hougang, where it is joined by tributary Sungei Pinang just before Sengkang, before flowing towards Lorong Halus, where it is joined by another tributary Sungei Blukar, before emptying into the Serangoon Harbour.
