The Venetian Causeway crosses Biscayne Bay between Miami on the mainland and Miami Beach on a barrier island in south Florida. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in late 2014 after being nominated by the state. The building was constructed in 1953 and was designed by Robert Swartburg.

The Bacardi Building, the former headquarters of Bacardi USA, is a landmark of Midtown Miami. The building was designed by Cuban architect Enrique Gutierrez in 1963. On April 18, 2012, the AIA's Florida Chapter placed it on its list of Florida Architecture: 100 Years. 100 Places as Bacardi USA. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.

Akoya Condominiums is a 47-story, high-rise residential condominium located in Miami Beach, Florida. Built in 2004 and rising 150 meters (492 feet), Akoya Condominiums is the third tallest building in Miami Beach, after the 170 meter Blue and Green Diamonds.
