Running from Garden Road Admiralty to Victoria Peak via the Mid-Levels, it provides the most direct route and offers good views over the harbour and skyscrapers of Hong Kong.

They referred to it as "The Falls", but it later became known as Ho Tung Gardens.In 2011, it was listed as a Grade I historic building by the Antiquities Advisory Board (AAB).

Gate Lodge is a small house located at Mount Austin Road on Victoria Peak, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. Gate Lodge was built between 1900 and 1902. It is in Renaissance style. It was a part of the former complex known as Mountain Lodge, home to the then Governor of Hong Kong. However, the main building was demolished in 1946.

Barker Road stop

Barker Road Stop (Chinese: 白加道) is an intermediate station on the Peak Tram funicular railway line, and is located on Barker Road in the Peak, Central and Western District, Hong Kong, 363 metres (1,191 ft) above sea level. The station opened in 1888 along with the tramline. At this time it was named Plantation Road Station as Barker Road was built not before 1898.

Mount Austin Barracks was a British Army base in Hong Kong during British rule. It was acquired in 1897 and developed from the former Mount Austin Hotel. It is named after John Gardiner Austin, former Hong Kong Colonial Secretary. It was located near the Peak Tram terminus at Victoria Peak.The base consisted of a series of multi-storey buildings on a hill.
