The Sacro Monte di Orta (literally: "Sacred Mountain of Orta") is a Roman Catholic devotional complex in the comune of Orta San Giulio (Piedmont, northern Italy) on the summit of a hill known as San Nicolao, which faces the western shore of Lake Orta. It is one of the Sacri Monti of Piedmont and Lombardy, included in UNESCO World Heritage list.

The Villa Crespi is a 19th-century Moorish revival-style rural palace, now a luxury hotel and restaurant, located on Via G. Fava 18, near the shores of Lago D'Orta in the town of Orta San Giulio, Province of Novara, Piedmont, Italy. It is notable for its scenic tall minaret-like tower. The interior atrium has a dazzling degree of stucco arabesque decoration.

Pettenasco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Novara in the Italian region of Piedmont, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) northeast of Turin and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of Novara. It lies on the eastern shore of Lake Orta.As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,318 and an area of 7.1 square kilometres (2.7 sq mi).

Carcegna is a small village located above the eastern shore of Lake Orta, at an altitude of 490m, in the Province of Novara, Piedmont, Italy. Administratively a frazione of the commune of Miasino, it has 260 inhabitants, called Carcegnesi. Its patron saint is Saint Peter, celebrated on 29 June.Archaeological excavations have brought to light Gaulish, Gallo-Roman and Etruscan remains.
