Rantzauer See

Barmstedt is a town in the district of Pinneberg, in the south of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated approximately 8 km northeast of Elmshorn, and 30 km northwest of Hamburg. It has approximately 9,500 inhabitants which makes it the smallest town in the Pinneberg district.

Rantzau is an Amt ("collective municipality") in the district of Pinneberg, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated around Barmstedt, which is the seat of the Amt, but not part of it. The Amt was named after the County of Rantzau, which existed between 1649 and 1864.
