Well maintained trails surrounding Radnor Full Lake. We saw deer, turtles in lake, chipmunks and squirrels. Loved the thin vine like branches on trees. The trail was mostly shaded.

#5- Photo-Walk on Otter Creek Road
8
Length: 2.8 milesEst. Time: 1h4m

Park at the visitors' center on the Granny White Pike entrance to Radnor Lake and prepare for a lovely walk! Heading up the trail behind the visitors' center gives you a gentler route than the hill on Otter Creek Road. And, you can cross the dam for a beautiful view of Radnor Lake, with accompanying information boards on the lake's avian wildlife. Turn left at the end of the dam to start up the road, which is shady and cool most parts of the year when the trees are in leaf. Wildflowers run rampant. Be on the lookout not only for birds, squirrels, and chipmunks but snakes, millipedes, and deer! Turtles bask and pobblebonks croak in the small ponds opposite the lake; you can stop at the various lookout points for a telescoping view across the lake. If a Ranger is out viewing the bald eagles or cormorants, he'll often let you take a look, too! Don't forget your camera! Gorgeous shots of the lake, the wildlife, the forest, and the flowers are all waiting for the attentive photographer.

#6- South Cove Trail at Radnor Lake
2
Length: 1.9 milesEst. Time: 51m

Whether you park at East or West Parking at Radnor it's easy to pick up South Cove Trail -- just go up Otter Creek Road until you see signs for it, about 0.3 miles in on either side. A steep hike on a narrow trail, but well worth the view of the lake & the opportunities to spot wildlife. Birds abound. Be sure to top off your water bottle at the Radnor Lake Visitor's Center (at West Parking, off Granny White Pike) before starting!

#7- Walk Radnor Lake and the Ridge Trail
1
Length: 4.5 milesEst. Time: 1h48m

You have your choice of paved, gentle, or strenuous walks, from 1 to 8 miles... with a very nice visitors’ center. The paved paths are dog-friendly. The entire park has lots of shade. Lots of birds, turtles, deer, hawks, herons, ducks. One of my favorite places to walk.
