Nice, relaxing, easy walk. There aren’t many hills in this area. I would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a hike lasting from 1.5 to 2 hours. It was fully paved except the stretch where I choose to walk along the waters edge but there is a path which would take you further away from the water that is paved. Normally the pavement goes fully around the lake but is currently being worked on so the path was partially closed. Lots of trees and birds and wildflowers this time of year (spring) to enjoy. You could also choose any number of earthen paths leading off of the paved trail just past the lake if you are so inclined.

Good walk on a warm spring day. Took approximately one hour to complete. Some paved paths and some dirt paths. Had to walk through a bit of black gumbo mud after recent heavy rains and walked through a running event this morning in the park area but all and all a very nice way to enjoy the morning,
