Sortedams Sø

Sortedam Lake (Danish: Sortedams Sø) is a lake at Copenhagen in Denmark. A vertical slope was added in the area in 1929. In September 2012 it was announced that there were plans to build a floating bridge on the lake, and construction material left from digging tunnels would be placed on the eastern part of Sortedam in the Østerbrogade (‘Lille Trianglen’) area.

The Battle of Ryesgade was a nine-day series of street fights in mid-September 1986, in the Copenhagen street Ryesgade. It was the most violent event in a long-standing conflict between the Copenhagen city council and the city's community of squatters. Faced with an ultimatum to leave their illegally occupied housing or face eviction, the squatters instead fortified the streets around their building so strongly that it became a cop-free zone.

Dronning Louises Bro (English: Queen Louise's Bridge) is a bridge across The Lakes in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It joins Frederiksborggade in Indre By (city centre) with Nørrebrogade in Nørrebro and separates Sortedam Lake (Sortedam Sø) to the northeast from Peblinge Lake (Peblinge Sø) to the south west.

The House of Unitarians in Copenhagen, Denmark, is the chapel of the Danish Unitarian Church Society. It was designed by Carl Brummer and opened in 1927 on Østerbrogade, now Dag Hammerskjolds Allé. Brummer was asked to design a building which reflected the Unitarian ideals of tolerance towards other religions.

Søtorvet (lit. "The Lake Square") is an elegant late 19th century residential development facing The Lakes in Copenhagen, Denmark. It flanks the end of Frederiksborggade, where it turns into the Queen Louise Bridge, at the intersection with Øster and Nørre Søgade.
