Westerley Ware is a small garden and recreation ground in Kew in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It is at the foot of Kew Bridge, between Waterloo Place (a row of houses and flats off Kew Green) and the Thames riverbank. Historically common land, it has a memorial garden – bordered by hedges – to the fallen in the First World War, a grass area, three hard tennis courts and a children's playground.

Kew Green is a large open space in Kew in west London. Owned by the Crown Estate, it is leased to the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It is roughly triangular in shape, and its open grassland, framed with broadleaf trees, extends to about thirty acres. Kew Green is overlooked by a mixture of period townhouses, historic buildings and commercial establishments.

Kew Bridge is a Grade II listed bridge over the River Thames in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and the London Borough of Hounslow. The present bridge, which was opened in 1903 as King Edward VII Bridge by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, was designed by John Wolfe-Barry and Cuthbert A Brereton.

Chiswick Bridge is a reinforced concrete deck arch bridge over the River Thames in west London. One of three bridges opened in 1933 as part of an ambitious scheme to relieve traffic congestion west of London, it carries the A316 road between Chiswick on the north bank of the Thames and Mortlake on the south bank.

The Bull's Head is a Grade II listed public house at 15 Strand-on-the-Green, Chiswick, London, England.This riverside gastro-pub is also a gentlemen's club, known for its exotic table dancers and vintage whisky collection, dating back to 1777, the oldest bottle being one from which Oliver Cromwell drank after seeking refuge at the consequently named Oliver's Island, a 0.9 acre islet opposite the pub on the River ThamesIt was built in the 18th century, and the architect is not known.

Kew Cricket Club plays matches on Kew Green in Kew, which is now in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.The club was formed in 1882 following the amalgamation of two local clubs, Kew Oxford Cricket Club and Kew Cambridge Cricket Club, but cricket had been played on Kew Green for many years before this.

Strand-on-the-Green is an area of Chiswick in west London.

University of London Boat Club (ULBC or UL) is the rowing club for the University of London with membership open to students of all of its constituent colleges. As with other collegiate universities, many of the University of London's colleges have their own boat clubs. Members of these college boat clubs who feel strong enough can trial for a place in the squad of The University Of London Boat Club to compete at an elite level.

University College London Boat Club (UCLBC) is one of University College London's largest student societies, with over 100 formal members. The club is highly successful and has a rich heritage and has a stated annual goal of achieving a top 10 placement for each squad at the British Universities Rowing events including the Head of the River in March and the Regatta in May.
