Leaving the National Trust car park, take time to go down to Stackpole Quay. Then go up a set of steep, but not too many steps, signposted Barafundle Beach. You will go along the cliff top on a fairly flat, wide path with stunning sea views. You then drop down into Barafundle Beach via another set of steepish steps - take time to admire the view. Take a picnic as no facilities. Fabulous sandy beach with gentle slope into very clear water.
Very easy route. From the beach, there are many other paths which will take you to various parts of the Stackpole Estate.
These are of varying lengths and degrees of difficulty. Of great natural beauty is Bosherston lily pad Lakes which can be reached from Barafundle.
