University Hospital Waterford (Irish: Ospidéal na hOllscoile, Port Láirge) is a teaching hospital located in Waterford, County Waterford, Ireland. It is managed by South/Southwest Hospital Group.

Ballygunner GAA (nicknamed "The Gunners") is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club located in the parish of St Mary's Ballygunner in Waterford City, Ireland.The club is exclusively concerned with hurling. The club is one of the most successful in Waterford with a number of county titles and have produced many great players for Waterford such as Paul Flynn, Fergal Hartley, Billy O Sullivan, Pauric Mahoney to name but a few.

Knockboy (Irish: Knock Buí meaning Yellow Hill), commonly referred to as Ballygunner (Irish: Baile Mhic Gonair), is a suburb and formerly a village on the outskirts of Waterford City, Ireland. Originally an independent village, it has become part of Waterford City, due to urban sprawl, and now forms part of the city's suburbs.

Ardkeen is an eastern suburb of Waterford, Ireland. It contains the University Hospital Waterford, two shopping centres, with various chain stores (Tesco, Next, Homebase) and some restaurants, plus the Uluru Australian theme pub.
