Corner Brook is a provincial electoral district in Newfoundland and Labrador. As of 2011, there are 13,718 people living in the district.Corner Brook merges most of the former district of Humber East and most of the former district of Humber West. The district was created following the 2015 electoral districts boundaries review.

CKVB-FM, branded as Bay of Islands Radio, is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts a community radio format at 100.1 FM in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador.Since 2011, Bay of Islands Radio has maintained a full-time internet stream, broadcasting programs from a wide variety of topics and music genres produced by its volunteers.
