One of my favorite spots in Redding for a walk. I find the loop is a little bit easier to do counterclockwise, as the steep hill near the Julian Street entrance is easier to go down than up. Somewhat lacking in shade in the summer, but just perfect in the Spring. The vistas along Shasta View are especially lovely on a clear day.
