Branch Brook Park

Branch Brook Park is a county park of Essex County, New Jersey in the United States, located in the North Ward of Newark, between the neighborhoods of Forest Hill and Roseville. A portion of the park is also located within the Township of Belleville. At 360 acres (150 ha), Branch Brook Park is the largest public park in the city of Newark.

Clara Maass Medical Center is a hospital in Belleville, Essex County, New Jersey, United States, that is part of the Barnabas Health. It was founded in 1868 as the Newark German Hospital, and was renamed in 1952 in honor of Clara Maass, a former nurse who trained there at the hospital's Christina Trefz Training School for Nurses, and become the hospital's head nurse.

Branch Brook Park station is a station located at Anthony Place (formerly North Fifth Street) north of Heller Parkway on the Newark City Subway Line of the Newark Light Rail. This station was opened in 2001 to replace a previous streetcar loop at this stop, then called Franklin Avenue station to allow for longer vehicles to be used that replaced the PCC streetcars that previously ran the line, and also replaced the now-shuttered Heller Parkway station.

Davenport Avenue station is a station on the Newark City Subway Line of the Newark Light Rail, located at the dead end of Davenport Avenue east of North Fifth Street.It includes a gate which provides pedestrian access to Branch Brook Park, as well as a pedestrian at-grade crossing across the tracks located on the southeast corner of the dead end.

The William Clark House, also known as the North Ward Center, is located in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1879 at a cost of $200,000 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 10, 1977. The house is a 28-room Queen Anne style designed by William Halsey Wood.

Opened as a four-year high school in September 1925, the school closed in June 2006 due to declining enrollment and increasing financial deficits. A new school, Christ the King Preparatory School, opened on the site in September 2007.
