The River Dane is a tributary of the River Weaver that originates in the Peak District area of England. The name of the river (earlier Daven) is probably from the Old Welsh dafn, meaning a "drop or trickle", implying a slow-moving river.

St Nicholas Catholic High School is a mixed voluntary aided school and sixth form in Hartford, near Northwich, Cheshire for students aged 11 to 18. Since 2017, the head teacher has been Richard Woods. The students who enroll there study for 5 years and after GCSEs, They have the possibility of going to Sixth Form, The college part of the building

Kingsmead is a garden village and civil parish in the Cheshire West and Chester district, Cheshire, England, located on the eastern bank of the River Weaver. South of Northwich and west of Leftwich, the village is a greenfield site and was constructed by Redrow to hold a population of 5,000 people. The parish was created on 1 April 2011 from parts of Davenham and Northwich.

Hartford Manor is a former country house in the village of Hartford, Cheshire, England. Its age is uncertain; it was said to have been re-fronted in about 1820 for John Marshall, but the core of the building is earlier. It has since been altered and extended. During the 20th century the building was used an office.

The Hartford Bridge, or Blue Bridge, is a single-span road bridge crossing the River Weaver at Hartford, Cheshire in England. The bridge is located on the A556 as part of the Northwich bypass.
