Parc d'Olmsted

Olmsted Park is a linear park in Boston and Brookline, Massachusetts, and a part of Boston's Emerald Necklace of connected parks and parkways. Originally named Leverett Park, in 1900 it was renamed to honor its designer, Frederick Law Olmsted.Olmsted Park can be roughly divided into two parts. In the south, bordering Jamaica Pond, it includes athletic fields and three ponds: from the south, a small kettle pond called Ward's Pond, the tiny Willow Pond, and the much larger Leverett's Pond.

The Pill Hill Historic District is a historic district roughly bounded by Boylston Street, Pond Ave., and Acron, Oakland and Highland Roads in Brookline, Massachusetts.

The Emerald Necklace consists of a 1,100-acre (4.5 km2; 450 ha) chain of parks linked by parkways and waterways in Boston and Brookline, Massachusetts. It gets its name from the way the planned chain appears to hang from the "neck" of the Boston peninsula; to this day it is not fully constructed. In 1989 the Emerald Necklace Parks was designated as Boston Landmark by the Boston Landmarks Commission.

Back of the Hill is a surface stop on the light rail MBTA Green Line "E" Branch, located in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It is named after, and primarily serves, the adjacent Back of the Hill apartment complex, a Section 8 development for elderly and disabled residents. The apartment complex was built in 1980; the stop likely opened in 1982 when the line reopened after two years of reconstruction.

The White Place Historic District is a historic district on White Place between Washington Street and Davis Path in Brookline, Massachusetts. White Place contains the town's highest concentration of vernacular 19th-century architecture, with 36 houses built between c. 1835 and 1905. Most of these are single-story or 1-1/2 story cottages, which were built before 1866, and exhibit elements of Italianate styling, derived either from the time of their construction, or through later alteration.

Heath Street (announced as Heath Street/VA Medical Center) is an MBTA transit station in Boston, Massachusetts. It is the terminus of the Green Line "E" Branch. It is located at the intersection of South Huntington Avenue and Heath Street on the border between the Mission Hill and Jamaica Plain neighborhoods.

VA Medical Center was a light rail stop on the MBTA Green Line "E" Branch, located adjacent to VA Hospital Jamaica Plain in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It was closed on December 28, 1985 when service on the "E" Branch past Heath Street was "temporarily" suspended. The route 39 bus, the replacement for the Arborway Line, now stops at the same location.
