RHS Hyde Hall is a fantastic place for easy strolls or more energetic hikes. Please note, DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED at the Gardens unless they are assistance dogs. Further note, this particular route, would not be suitable for wheelchairs or strollers. However, Hyde Hall Gardens have paths that are wheelchair and stroller friendly and there is a small shuttle from the parking area to the main Gardens for people needing assistance. The gardens provide a wonderful place to walk year round. Each time we visit they have changed just as time and the seasons change. Whether it’s the full blooms in summer, or the reds and golds of Autumn, the gardens are always interesting and beautiful. There is a cafe, a restaurant, an up and coming Tea House, a gift shop, a garden centre, public washrooms, parking, picnic areas, a reading room and a learning centre. The gardens host events year round so check online to see what’s happening! There is an entrance fee to visit the gardens and visitors are encouraged to become members. The entrance fee can be applied to a member + 1 guest annual membership fee which is very reasonably priced and gives access to the gardens and events. Since we walk at Hyde Hall on a weekly basis we don’t mind the annual membership fee but it’s important to make it clear that for full access to the gardens, there is a fee. Probably our favourite place to walk and enjoy the fresh air!
