The Musée Français de la Carte à Jouer is a museum of playing cards located at 16, rue Auguste Gervais, Issy-les-Moulineaux, a suburb of Paris, France. It is open Wednesdays through Sundays. An admission fee is charged.The museum was established in 1986 based on the collections of Louis Chardonneret (1849–1935) and Robert Thissen, and since 1997 has occupied its current location in the former Château d'Issy of the Princes of Conti.

Issy-les-Moulineaux (French pronunciation: ​[isi le mulino]) is a commune in the southwestern suburban area of Paris, France, lying on the left bank of the river Seine. It is one of Paris' entrances and is located 6.6 km (4.1 mi) from Notre-Dame Church, which is considered Kilometre zero of France. On 1 January 2010, Issy-les-Moulineaux became part of the Grand Paris Seine Ouest agglomeration community, which merged into the Métropole du Grand Paris in January 2016.

Battle of Issy

The Battle of Issy was fought on the 2 and 3 July 1815 in and around the village of Issy, a short distance south west of Paris. The result was a victory for Prussian General von Zieten over a French army commanded by General Dominique Vandamme.

Mairie d'Issy (French pronunciation: [mɛʁi d‿isi]) is the southern terminus of Line 12 of the Paris Métro in the commune of Issy-les-Moulineaux. It is named after and located near the town hall; shops located on the Avenue Victor Cresson and Avenue de la République are served by the station. It was opened on 24 March 1934 as part of the extension of the line from Porte de Versailles.
